Portable Devices and Their Enemy #1 - The Liquids

One thing that most people who own a cell phone or a laptop are very careful of is spilling water or another liquid onto it. This may be your coup of cofee , your hot tea or maybe your late-eavning glass with wiskey :)

No matter what liquid , it will be harmfull enough to you Electronic device. In few minutes you realize that you precious device not working...not to working hard , but completely demaged. This kind of incident may cost you about 100$ and more , much more , depends of you Electronic Product.

Somethimes it can usually be saved if you allow it to dry out completely before trying to turn it on and use it. This helps in 30% of the cases. If you device is turned on when you spilling the liquid , immediately turn it off , or eaven unplug it from the wall or whatever is your source of power.

If you have an item that has been water damaged by more than just spilling a cup of liquid on it or just dropping it in the toilet, it's best to consult a professional.

If your device is delicate , like - Laptops, MP3 Players and Cameras dont try to clean it up when it is already dry. Dont eaven Open it. In 80% of the cases this will make your THING - useless.

Whatever you do, don't try to power on the device or use it in any way before it's dry, no matter what size or kind of device it may be!!! This may be dangerous for you health!!!
